Monika is an environmental physiologist, having received her BSc, MSc and Doctorate in plant biotechnology and genetic engineering in Canada. Prior to joining the UN Environment Programme, her work experience in Canada and South Africa included academia, policy implementation, environmental decision support systems, environmental assessments, multi-stakeholder and private sector partnerships, small, medium and micro-enterprise technology transfer and capacity development. Monika has incorporated her multi-disciplinary science and technology background to environmental policy through her work at UNEP at the regional level, partnership management as the Deputy Director at UNEP-WCMC, and later as Deputy Director and Chief of both the Capacity Development, and the Scientific Assessment Branches in UNEP's Science Division. She is now Chief of the Chemicals and Health Branch in UNEP’s Economy Division overseeing UNEP's work in chemicals, waste, pollution and health, e-mobility, and the strategic partnership on waste management at the International Environmental Technology Centre (IETC) located in Osaka, Japan.
Alexander Ivanov
Chief Technical Leader, KBR

Dr. Alexander Ivanov graduated Moscow Institute of Fine Chemical Technology and obtained PhD in

Zelinskiy Institute of Organic Chemistry, Moscow, Russia in the field of catalysis. Further, he worked

7 years in fundamental and applied science for development of materials and catalysts for refinery

processes.

Last 14 years Dr. Alexander Ivanov is working in nitrogen&syngas industry. 4 years ago he joined

KBR Technology for the position of Chief Technical Leader in Syngas Department of Moscow

Branch of KBR. His focus area is licensing of grassroot ammonia and nitric acid plants and revamps

of vintage ammonia plants.

Stanislav Kliuev
Chief Specialist of Sales Department ,thyssenkrupp industrial solutions
Stanislav Klyuev graduated from Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named by R.E. Alekseev. He has been working in Dzerzhinsk office of ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (RUS) since 2011. For 8 years he was working in the technology department as a Senior Process Engineer. The main areas of activity in the field of design are coke production (distillation of coal tar, purification of naphthalene, granulation of coal tar pitch, purification of off-gases from benzene and its homologues, loading and unloading racks and a commodity warehouse), polymers (suspension and microsuspension polyvinyl chloride), and off-site facilities (steam and hot water boilers, high-temperature organic heat carrier boilers, gas supply, flare installations). For the last 3 years he has been working in the Sales Department as a Chief Specialist. His main area of expertise is "Mineral Fertilizers and Methanol".
Elisa Puci
Process Engineer, Stamicarbon B.V.

Elisa Puci received a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 2007 at the Polytechnic University of Turin in Italy. After her graduation she started as a Process Engineer for thermo-electrical power

plants at Maire Tecnimont in Italy.

In 2011 she joined Stamicarbon in the Technology department as Urea Process Engineer. In her role

she is responsible for preparing process design packages for melt and granulation plants. She is

member of the finishing team to further professionalize and develop the finishing technologies within

the Stamicarbon technology scope.

Giorgi Kobaladze
Programme Advisor, The Nitric Acid Climate Action Group (NACAG)
Giorgi Kobaladze has 15 years of experience in the field of environmental protection with solid background in waste management, pollution control and contamination assessment. His career is built at high performance organizations and development programs funded by the UN Missions, EU Commission, World Bank, Sida, KFW, Swedish EPA and USAID.
On behalf of the Nitric Acid Climate Action Group (NACAG), recently, he is Program Advisor of the Nitric Acid Initiative Georgia. The program is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
Giorgi Kobaladze holds MA degree (Circular Economy, Policy & Administration) and he is familiar with multilateral environmental agreements, respective requirements, standards and the best practices.
Alexander Slyusarenko
Sales Manager, Clariant

As Sales Account Manager for Russia/CIS, Alexander Slyusarenko specializes in hydrogenation, oxidation, and emission control catalysts. He joined Clariant in 2019 From 2013 to 2019, he worked as Regional Manager and Technical Coordinator for two international catalyst providers, focusing on emission control solutions.

Alexander Slyusarenko holds an Engineer’s degree in Power Engineering from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Russia’s oldest and largest technical university.

Venkat Pattabathula 
Principal Consultant, SVP Chemical Plant Services
Venkat Pattabathula has more than 35 years of experience in the nitrogen manufacturing industry in various parts of the world, such as Asia, North America, and Australia.
Venkat is a chartered professional engineer (CPE) of Engineers Australia and a registered professional engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), and a life member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). Venkat was elected to the AIChE Ammonia Safety Committee in 2005 and has been on the committee since then.
Venkat has published >130 papers focusing on ammonia, urea process safety, plant incidents, and technology developments.
He holds a post-graduate degree (M.Tech) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.

Venkat has started his consultancy firm known as “SVP Chemical Plant Services” in providing technical services to the ammonia, urea industry across the globe.

Sergey Khachatryan
Regional Sales Manager, Johnson Matthey
Sergey Khachatryan joined Johnson Matthey PLC as Sales Engineer CIS in 1996; became Account Manager in 2004 and Senior Account Manager in 2010; take position of Regional Sales Manager in 2020.

The main activity is management of sales of products and services for Efficient Natural Recourses division of Johnson Matthey PLC and business development on the markets of FSU and several Eastern Europe countries; consulting and support of the customers for the products and services, their features, performance and application, in particular, with relation to the range of ammonia catalysts, ammonia oxidation catalysts, N2O abatement catalystsfor nitric acid production.

David Inward
Strategic Industry Manager, SICK AG
David has been working in the the field of gas analysis for over 25 years.
He is originally from the UK but is based in Prague, Czech Republic.
He joined Sick AG in 2009 and has fulfilled roles including supporting the establishment of subsidiaries in both Turkey & India.
Since July 2020, David is part of a global team responsible for coordinating activities in Chemical, Petrochemical & Refining Industry sectors. This focusses on continuous emission monitoring systems which facilitate reporting dust, gas and flow-rate emissions to atmosphere.

Kim ten Wolde
Product Manager, Holland Novochem
Kim ten Wolde has been in the fertilizer industry since 2012, when he did his graduation project at ICL Fertilizers in The Netherlands on using recycled phosphate sources. Subsequently he joined ICL as a Process Engineer and took on several international roles within ICL with a strong focus on sustainability and operational excellence.

Kim moved to the fertilizer additives business in 2018, joining Holland Novochem as a Product Manager. His current focus is mainly on developing new coating agents which are more sustainable, exploring new markets and opportunities in the fertilizer additives market and developments in smart agriculture.
